A study, inspired by the line of Hamlet to Ophelia that sends her over the edge, literally. I wanted to sketch and play with the contrast of satin white and rough dark green grasses.
A beautiful sketch. I especially like the bold rendering of the satin with nice large strokes and lots of contrast. Reminds of the way Leyendecker rendered his fabrics. Thank you for sharing it with us.
